I build across the full stack of a system — firmware and motor control on embedded hardware, backend APIs, and the web apps on top — then ship them for people to actually use.
About
I'm currently studying Robotics and Intelligent Systems at Tecnológico de Monterrey, after finishing a Technical Professional Certificate in Programming at CBTis No. 118. I like understanding a system by rebuilding it myself — an operating-system kernel for a course project, the motor-control loop for an omnidirectional robot, or a recommendation engine that shows its reasoning instead of hiding it inside a model. Most of what's below started as a hackathon weekend or a problem I ran into at school. A couple of them are still running for people who aren't me.
Projects — Build Log
School Schedule Management System
The school's scheduling process had real pain points, so I led a small student team to design a web app around how scheduling actually worked there, not a generic template. It's been running in production for the school ever since.
Opportunity Graph
A recommendation engine for scholarships, hackathons, internships, and fellowships, built on a knowledge graph instead of a black-box model. Every recommendation traces back to a deterministic score based on interests, eligibility, deadlines, and experience level.
Pedichu
A desktop command center for keeping track of competitions, hackathons, scholarships, and deadlines in one place, organized around commitments rather than scattered tasks and dates. Calendar, tasks, progress tracking, and native notifications, built out as a phased roadmap.
StudyDuo
EXCOBA prep resources were either expensive or full of unreliable AI-generated material, so I built my own. StudyDuo turns a student's own PDFs and notes into practice questions with real explanations, with bilingual support and usage limits to keep it sustainable.
Daily Space Explorer
A mobile space-exploration app built as the final project for a national STEM program. The backend pulls live data from NASA's APOD, NeoWs, and EONET APIs for daily astronomy images, near-Earth objects, and natural events on Earth. Selected as 1 of 60 out of roughly 600 applicants for the program's in-person stage.
Experience
CIATEQ — Intern
Collaborated on an interactive educational scanner designed to teach children about the human body through hands-on interaction.
Selected to join an advanced Operating Systems course designed for master's-level students, and developed a small operating-system kernel as the final project.
Led a student robotics team representing CIATEQ at FutBot MX 2026, coordinating development of autonomous soccer-playing robots.
Continuing to collaborate with CIATEQ on engineering projects and demonstrations for an upcoming October 2026 showcase.
